Rang-ay Bank San Fernando Branch conducted a Dental Hygiene Program for Senior Citizens of Barangay I, City of San Fernando, La Union last February 05, 2016. The Venue of the event is at the Liga ng mga Barangay Hall. This program is in support of the City Government’s vision of Health and Wellness promotion among Senior Citizens.
The project was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Dental Association – La Union Chapter headed by its President, Dr. Mikael Querol C. Nisce and in coordination with the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) chaired by Mrs. Natividad A. Pelaez. The highlights of the activity was the conduct of dental lecture for geriatrics; and giving away free dentures to identified Senior Citizens with zero teeth. Also the bank distributed kits for the Senior Citizen swhich contain tooth brushes & toothpastes, bath and face towels, bath soap, alcohol and dental hygiene materials. Raffle draw was also conducted foradditional giveaways to them. The endeavor is a strong manifestation of the bank’s continued commitment to realize its corporate social responsibility.
Senior Citizen Pensioners are one of the most loyal clients of the bank. Senior citizen clients receive their monthly pensions directly to their Rang-ay Bank accounts. Pensioners may also avail of SSS loans at any of Rang-ay’s branches.
